The garbanzo bread turned out just OK.  I needed to do a better job on the bean smoosh, and it I think maybe it was the honey flavor that didn't seem to go.  Next time.  I am out of flour, currently, so I'm not baking anything else until I rectify that.  Grandma's rye is calling...

Despite the dire warnings of lessons to be learned, today feels a little more like a good day than some of the past few have.  The garbanzo bread is not looking very good, I should have smooshed the beans rather than leaving them whole.  I didn't intend to leave them whole, but I thought that the mixing and kneading would be adequate for smooshing.  Alas.

Baking day!  Today is sour dough again.  The last batch of molasses bread was the best yet.  Next up is garbanzo bread.

Abbey is doing an assignment this month where we plot the moon every day.  It is currently visible in the morning so we've been going out and checking it first thing.  I think it is fun.

It is one week and one day until Ella's first Daisy meeting.  EEEK

We are off to see Pinkalicious this morning.  It has been Ella's favorite book for the past few weeks and we have read it a LOT.

Among other things, you'll find that you're not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by human behavior. You're by no means alone on that score, you'll be excited andstimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You'll learn from them - if you want to. Just as someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you.
