I am about to abandon this whole wheat rye experiment, I made a grandma's rye yesterday and it is so much better than any of these recipes, it really is a waste of my fancy rye flour to make anything else.  I think I might change gears entirely and look at a different book for awhile...

Abbey and I are working on speaking positively.  I got a little note from her teacher with some tools to use at home, mostly just re-framing but isn't that the crux anyway?  I am glad that things are already heading out of the hole, otherwise this might have been another huge upset to my apple cart.

Ella is the master of getting my goat and abusing it mercilessly, I need to work hard on my own buttons in order to inactivate them for her.

Alrighty then, I shall speak to the people today about having this class at the rec center.  This morning will include a trip to the bank as well, to get that all straightened out.

My weirdo cycle is back to it's weirdo tricks, being either a week early, or exactly on time based on when it should have started last month.  WEIRD!  Better early than late, though.

Yoga!  Will I do this short form Ashtanga every day?  Or most every day?  It is hard to practice!

My new strings are so very nice, but I overdid it a bit with the fretboard oil and proceeded to have a headache for 3 days straight.  It didn't help any that it was another episode of Tales From a Suck Gig and the HVAC was out and defaulting to full on effing hot.  It had to be pushing 90 in there.

The cards are warning of delayed travel, but I have no travel booked to delay.  I suppose I won't either, any time soon.  I can't say I understand what these cards are trying to say, although they have been popping up rather often.  Although I usually get it eventually...

The bread experiment goes on.  I have really like the last 2, the Peasant's rye and that other one, but they both were just a hair shy of overtaking the uber loaf in flavor or texture.  Today we have the Petaluma rye, which did not get the oven spring I was expecting.  I have not tasted it yet, I have learned with these whole wheat ryes that a day or two of sitting around can help the flavor to blossom.

The Daisy-ing is getting organized slowly but surely, we have acquired the uniforms and the books.  It is nice to watch the professional girl scouts do their thing, they are so planny and organized!

I would call those cards an astute summation of my past 2 weeks.  The wheel is turning and you can't slow down, you can't let go and you can't hold on, you can't go back and you can't stand still, if the thunder doesn't get you then the lightening will.

It will be nice when the gloom and doom of the 5 of swords can lift just a bit.  At the very least the actions have been undertaken for movement, I hope.
